System Setup

This chapter covers the hardware and software setup required by Flexiv AIDK. 

Hardware setup
--------------

Hardware connection of the Noema Edge App is described in the provided quick start guide. 
Please refer to the guide for initial hardware setup.



Prepare NoemaEdge App
---------------------------
Before using c++ and python AIDK api, please make sure NoemaEdge is running.

Tips: for experienced users, if robot can run plan to send request to AI correctly, then everything is ready.

Here takes project `GRASPNET` as an example. To setup NoemaEdge App, take the following steps:


1. Launch NoemaEdge
2. Image loading and management
3. License generation
4. License import
5. Software package download and import
6. Software package configuration
7. Program switch and logs

Details of each step are described in the provided quick start guide. Finally, start environment and start program `InferApp`. Now the NoemaEdge App is ready and its status is shown below.

Connect the NoemaEdge App
---------------------------

The NoemaEdge App can be connected using wired connection: use the provided Ethernet cable to connect to any of the LAN ports on the AI device.
